by Rachel Strausman and Munazza Khalid, prepared for the Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF)

About the Project:

This project provides exploratory insight into well-being in the Inland Empire through the lens of the vital conditions framework, combining analysis of publicly available data with an original survey focused on “Belonging and Civic Muscle”. Commissioned by the Inland Empire Community Foundation for their 2025 Policy & Philanthropy Summit, the findings illuminate key patterns and opportunities, sparking conversation and guiding action to strengthen community connection and civic engagement.
