Program Overview

The Randall Lewis Policy Researchers Program gives Master of Public Policy students the chance to tackle real policy questions in collaboration with governments, agencies, and nonprofits across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Partner organizations bring forward pressing research needs, and UCR students—supported by Center for Community Solutions staff and School of Public Policy faculty—deliver rigorous, evidence-based analysis that informs decisions and drives impact.

Made possible by a generous gift from Randall Lewis, the program equips students with hands-on research and client experience while providing community partners with high-quality research support at reduced cost - empowering the Inland Empire with data-driven solutions that advance regional well-being.

We welcome partnerships with Inland Empire organizations. If you have a research question or project idea and would like to explore whether a Randall Lewis Policy Researcher could support your work, please reach out to us at solutions@ucr.edu.
