This inaugural event of the 2023 – 2024 Warehousing and Logistics Event Series will broadly discuss the economic impact, scale, challenges, and opportunities our region faces in regards to this impactful economic sector. Description: Inland Southern California’s location along the path of goods movement – with proximity to the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, major highways, and railways – continues to make efficient transportation important to local governments. Join ICSD for a panel discussion with Chris Shimoda (California Trucking Association), Dr. Matt Miyasato (First Element Fuel), Dr. Kimberly Collins (CSU San Bernardino), and Dr. Ray Wolfe (San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA)) about the impacts of the warehousing and logistics sector on the local, state, and nationwide transportation system.
